The Personal Project is the pinnacle of the MYP journey. It allows you to explore a personal passion while demonstrating the Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills you have mastered. Whether you are building an app, writing a book, or designing an engine, this project is a reflection of your unique growth as a learner.
A: Investigating
Identify a goal based on personal interest and document prior knowledge and subject-specific research.
B: Planning
Develop rigorous success criteria for the product and create a detailed timeline to manage the process.
C: Taking Action
Create a product or outcome that demonstrates ATL skills and creative thinking in response to your goal.
D: Reflecting
Evaluate your product against your criteria and reflect on how the project extended your knowledge and skills.
