How do I/ how does my student select classes for the 2022/2023 school year?
The school counseling team will be presenting to all student in January regarding the course selection process. Once this is completed, students can access the information on the grade level webpages.
 
I am interested in playing sports, where do I go for try-out information?

I want to transfer to Centennial, how do I do this?
Open enrollment for CNUSD is open from December 1 to January 15th. Please visit the district website for more details: CNUSD Transfer Requests

What will the 22/23 School Year look like? Do you have a schedule yet for the late start?
On Jan. 1, 2019, Senate Bill 328 went into effect as Education Code 46148 which mandates districts to ensure Intermediate schools start at 8 a.m. or later, and High Schools start at 8:30 a.m. or later by July 1, 2022.

Changing start times of our intermediate and high schools creates a domino of impacts on our schools and families. To implement these state mandates we analyzed the possible impacts for all stakeholders, including staff, students, family, school operations, special education, business, food service, athletics, transportation, and other areas. As a result, we will modify our secondary school start times to the following:
Centennial High School

Start Time: 8:30 a.m.
End Time: 3:34 p.m.

Centennial High School will be releasing details of the bell schedule as soon as it is available.

How do I know who my school counselor is?
School counselors are assigned to students by their first last name or the program they are a part of (Puente, Umoja, or Emerging Multilingual Learner).

If I have two last names, who is my school counselor?
 Go by the first last name that appears in student connect. For example Acosta-Martinez, you would use the last name Acosta and your assigned school counselor would be Mrs. Grover.
